Great show and very funny!

I thought the play was going to be a movie copy since I had paid $75.00. The play surprised me pleasantly. It does a good job of summarizing and adds a different ending than the movie, making it worth the money. The play, unlike the movie, was funny instead of sad. I enjoyed that they made it funny. Seeing it was a good time for me. Celie, Shug, and Harpo stood out among all characters. The male dancers and sexual innuendos added to the play were also enjoyable. Despite the wigs being badly fitted and leaving marks on everyone's forehead, I highly recommend it. I was nervous about seeing this show.
